This specificationis approved by the Commissioner,Federal Supply
Service, Ceneral Services Administration,for the use of all Federal
agencies.
The
requirementsfor acquiring the wire described herein shall consist of this
specificationand the latest issue of J-W-1177.
Classification:
Class 130; type SUN (single),type SUN2 (heavy);
round.
Insulatingmaterials: The conductor shall be coated with a dual film.
The underlying costing shall be baaed on a
solderable polyurethane resin. The auperimpoaed
coating shall be baaed on a polyamide resin.
