This specification was approved by the Commissioner, Federal Supply Service,
General Services Administration, for the uae of all Federal agencies.
1. SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION
1.1 -. l%is specification covers unsweetened
chips and chocolate-flavoredbeking chips for use by
Government.

The chocolate covered by this specification shall be of the
following types, as specified (see 6.1):
Type I - Chocolate, cooking, unsweetened
Type II - Chocolate chips
Type III -
Chocolate-flavored baking chips
