1.1 Scope.
This specification covers absorbent cotton suitable for use
in medical applications.
1.2 Classification.
1.2.1 Grades, classes, and sizes.
The cotton shall be of the
following
grades, classes,
and sizes as specified (see 6.2).

Grade A - Sterile (USP)
Class I

Class 11 - Noncompressed.
