FEDERAL SPECIFICATION
SEMITRAILERS, TANK: GASOLINE
AND FUEL OIL, COMMERCIAL
This specification is approved by the Commissioner, Federal
Supply Service, General Services Administration, for the use
of all Federal agencies.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers commercial tank semitrailers having
either forced or gravity discharge systems, and is designed for transporting
gasoline and fuel oil.
1.2 Classification. Semitrailers covered by this specification are of the
types and sizes specified (see 6.2), as shown in table I.
