FEDERAL SPECIFICATION
TRICHLOROETHYLENE, TECHNICAL
This specification was approved by the Commissioner,
Federal Supply and Services, General Services Admin-
istration, for the use of all Federal agencies.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers two types of technical grade
trichloroethylene for use as a solvent.
l.2 Classification. Trichloroethylene shall be furnished in the following
types as specified (see 6.2):
Type I - Regular
Type II - Vapor degreasing
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
