FEDERAL SPECIFICATION
MIXING PLANT, ASPHALT, DRUM TYPE
PORTABLE, DED, 70 TPH (63 500 KG/HR) CAPACITY
This specification is approved by the Commissioner, Federal
Supply Service, General Services Administration, for the use
of all Federal agencies.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers a portable (semitrailer mounted)
asphalt drum mixing plant having a mixing capacity of not less than 70 tons per
hour (tph) or 63 500 kilograms per hour (kg/hr) complete with a diesel engine
driven (DED) power source.
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 Government documents.
2.1.1 Specifications, standards, and handbooks. Unless otherwise specified
(see 6.2), the following specifications, standards, and handbooks form a part of
this specification to the extent specified herein. Unless otherwise specified,
the issues of these documents shall be those listed in the issue of the
Department of Defense Index of Specifications and Standards (DODISS) and
supplement thereto, cited in the solicitation.
