FEDERAL SPECIFICATION
SNOW REMOVAL UNITS, ROTARY BLOWER, TRUCK MOUNTED
2400 TONS PER HOUR CAPACITY
This specification is approved by the Commissioner, Federal
Supply Service, General Services Administration, for the use
of all Federal agencies.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers snow removal units with a rotary
blower plowhead capable of moving snow at no less than 2,400 tons per hour (tph)
and mounted in the front of a four-wheel, four-wheel drive, diesel engine driven
truck.
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS

2.1.1 Specifications and standards. The following specifications and
standards form a part of this document to the extent specified herein. Unless
otherwise specified (see 6.2), the issues of these documents are those listed in
the issue of the Department of Defense Index of Specifications and Standards
