1.
SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION
1.1 *. This specification covers built synthetic detergents suitable
for laundering cotton, synthetic, and woolen fabrics, and for hand dishwashing
and general cleaning purposes (see 6.1).
1.2 Classification.
The detergents shall be of the following types, as
specified (see 6.2).
Type I
- Controlled sudsing and low phosphate
Type II
- Controlled sudsing and nonphosphate
Type 111
- High sudsing and low phosphate
2. APPLICABLE O(XUHENTS
2.1 Government documents. Unless otherwise specified, the following
documents of the issue in effect on date of invitation for bids or request for
proposal form a part of this specification to the extent specified herein.
