Use/Relationship:
The Contractual Shipping Documentation DID will provide the
Government with the information needed to help the Item
Management inspect and manage the program.
Requirements:
1. Format. The Contractual Shipping Documentation shall be in
the Contractor’s format.
2. Content. The Contractual Shipping Documentation shall
contain and identify:
a) Ship name and hull number
b) List of applicable Schedule “A” numbers, nomenclature
and quantity.
c) National Stock Numbers
d) Serial and Part Numbers.
e) A complete inventory of all GFE provided at a level of
detail that includes discrete individual cabinets,
components, interface devices, kits and other
individually packaged items.
f) List of all applicable Engineering Change Proposals
(ECP) changes.
g) Itemized list of all Shipped Short items at the Schedule
“A” level along with the estimated delivery dates.
h) Disposition instructions for any material that the
shipyard is expected to return, such as shipping reels
or containers.
3. The Contractual Shipping Documentation shall also include:
a) Government Bill of Lading (GBL) Number.
