MILITARY SPECIFICATION
DRAIN, FLOOR: CAST-IRON
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.

SCOPE
1.1 Scope.
This”specificationcovers a flush-type cast-iron floor
drain with slotted style open grate employed in temporary building

construction.
1.2 Classification.
The drain shall be of the following sizes, as
specified (see 6.2):
6 inches square with 2-inch outlet.
9 inches square with 4-inch outlet.
