DETAIL SPECIFICATION
ROPE, FIBROUS, CLIMBING TYPE, NYLON
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope
. This specification covers nylon rope used for mountaineering operations.
1.2 Classification
. The rope will be furnished in the following sizes as specified (see 6.2):
Sizes (Circumference)
3/4 inch
1-1/8 inches
1-1/4 inches
1-1/2 inches
