This specification is approved for use by the U.S. Army Edgewood
Chemical Biological Center and is available for use by all Depart-
ments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers two types of Solvent Green 3 dye (CAS 128---80---3),
c h e m i c a l l y k n o w n a s 1 , 4 --- d i --- p --- t o l u i d i n o a n t h r a q u i n o n e ;
Type I --- for solvent based binders and bowl and V type blenders,
Type II --- for air based fluidized bed type blenders.
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 General. The documents listed in this section are specified in sections 3 or 4 of this
specification. This section does not include documents cited in other sections of this specifica-
tion or recommended for additional information or as examples. While every effort has been
