QUICK DISCONNECT, HEAVY DUTY TYPE, GENERAL SPECIFICATION FOR
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers multi-contact, heavy duty, quick disconnect, waterproof,
electrical plug and receptacle connectors and associated accessories for electronic and electrical power
and control circuits. Connectors are rated for temperatures between -55°C to +125°C. See
6.1 for
intended use and applications.
1.1.1 Part or Identifying Number (PIN) construction. Unless otherwise specified in the detail
specification sheet, PINs for products acquired to this specification are formatted as shown in the
following PIN examples:
