This volume implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 11-2, Aircrew Operations, DAFPD
10-9, Lead Command Designation and Responsibilities for Weapon Systems and Air Force
Instruction (AFI) 11-200, Aircrew Training, Standardization/Evaluation, and General
Operations Structure. This manual applies to all civilian employees and uniformed members of
the Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve (AFR), and the Air National Guard (ANG). Failure to
observe the prohibitions and mandatory provisions in paragraph 7.11.5.6 of this publication by
military members is a violation of Article 92 of the UCMJ. Refer recommended changes and
questions about this publication to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) listed above using
the AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route AF Forms 847 from the
field through the appropriate Major Command (MAJCOM) training staff to the OPR. The OPR
