This manual implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 11-2, Aircrew Operations, Air Force
Instruction (AFI) 11-200, Aircrew Training, Standardization/Evaluation and General Operations
Structure, and is consistent with AFPD 11-4, Aviation Service and Air Force Manual (AFMAN)
11-202, Vol 3, Flight Operations. This is a specialized publication intended for use by Airmen
who have graduated from technical training related to this publication. It establishes operating
procedures for all CV-22 units. This manual applies to civilian employees and uniformed members
of the Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard, unless explicitly otherwise
provided. This publication does not apply to United States Space Force. This publication is used
in conjunction with AFI 11-202, Vol 2, Aircrew Standardization and Evaluation Program,
AFMAN 11-202, Vol 1, Aircrew Training, and Major Command (MAJCOM) supplements
thereto. This AFMAN may be supplemented at any level, but all supplements that directly
implement this publication must be routed to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) of this
manual for coordination prior to certification and approval. This Manual requires the collection
and or maintenance of information protected by the Privacy Act of 1974 authorized by Department
of Defense Directive (DoDD) 5400.11, DoD Privacy Program. The applicable SORN F011 AF
