This manual implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 11-2, Aircrew Operations, and
establishes the minimum Air Force standards for qualifying personnel performing duties in the E-
3G. This manual applies to all civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air
Force and the Air Force Reserve operating E-3G aircraft. This publication does not apply to the
Air National Guard or the United States Space Force. Air Force Directorate of Operations (AF/A3)
is the approval authority for changes to this manual. This manual requires the collection and or
maintenance of information protected by the Privacy Act of 1974 authorized by Department of
Defense (DoD) 5400.11-R, Department of Defense Privacy Program. The applicable SORN F011
AF XO A, Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) membership programs is available at

processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records
