This volume implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 11-2, Aircraft Rules and Procedures,
and supports AFPD 11-4, Aviation Service; and Air Force Instruction (AFI) 11-202, Volume 1,
Aircrew Training. It establishes the minimum Air Force standards for training and qualifying
personnel to successfully accomplish their worldwide mission in the E-8C aircraft. This manual
applies to all Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOMs) and Air National Guard (ANG). Manual
does not apply to Air Force Reserve (AFR). Refer recommended changes and questions about this
publication to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) using the AF Form 847,
Recommendation for Change of Publication; route AF Forms 847 from the field through the
appropriate chain of command. Ensure all records created as a result of processes prescribed in
this publication are maintained in accordance with Air Force Manual 33-363, Management of
Records, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule in the
Air Force Records Information Management System. This publication may be supplemented at
any level, but all direct Supplements must be routed to the OPR of this publication for coordination
prior to certification and approval. Keep supplements current by complying with AFI 33-360,
Publications and Forms Management.
