This checklist establishes amplifying procedures for operation of the
HH-60 aircraft.
HH-60 crewmembers must carry this checklist for all
flights. This checklist
complements AFMAN 11-2HH-60GV3, HH-60G Operations Procedures.
Submit recommendations for improvements
to this volume on an AF Form 847,
Recommendation
for Change of Publication, to the parent NAF/MAJCOM. Approved
recommendations are then forwarded to HQ ACC/A3JO. Forward
waiver requests
IAW waiver guidance in AFMAN 11-2HH-60G Vol 3.
SUMMARY OF CHANGES
This interim change revises AFMAN 11-2HH60GV3CL-1 by (1) added General
Aircrew Briefing and Mission Briefing steps addressing bird hazards in low-level areas,
terminal areas, and training ranges in accordance with AFSAS recommendations (2)
added ‘Route/Hazards – Briefed’ step into Low Level Checklist in accordance with
AFSAS recommendations (3) changed FOREST PENETRATOR inspection step 2.6.
to ‘Report any discrepancies to unit AIE manager.’ (4) Corrected multiple formatting
issues.
