PURPOSE
This manual implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 11-2, Aircrew Operations, and Air
Force Manual (AFMAN) 11-202, Vol 1, Aircrew Training. It establishes standards for
qualification, mission qualification, continuation, and upgrade training for aircrew members
operating MC-130J aircraft.. This manual applies to civilian employees and uniformed members
of the Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve (AFRC) and Air National Guard (ANG), unless
explicitly otherwise provided. This publication does not apply to the United States Space Force.
This manual requires the collection and or maintenance of information protected by the Privacy
Act of 1974 authorized by Title 10 United States Code, Section 9013, Secretary of the Air Force.
