This manual implements Air Force Instruction (AFI) 11-200, Aircrew Training,
Standardization/Evaluation, and General Operations Structure. It establishes procedures for the
operation of all Special Operations Forces MC-130H aircraft. It provides policies and
procedures for most circumstances, but should not replace sound judgment. This manual applies
to civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force and Air Force Reserve
unless explicitly otherwise provided. This publication does not apply to the Air National Guard
(ANG)/National Guard Bureau. The applicable SORN, F011 AF XO A, Aviation Resource

Unless prescribed within this publication, requests for waivers must be submitted through chain
of command to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) listed above for consideration and
approval. Ensure all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are
maintained in accordance with Air Force Instruction 33-322, Records Management and
Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records
Disposition Schedule located in the Air Force Records Information Management System. The
authorities to waive wing/unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a Tier
(“T-0, T-1, T-2, T-3”), as defined in paragraph 1.4 See Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-360,
Publications and Forms Management, for a description of the authorities associated with the Tier
numbers. Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the OPR using
the AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route AF Forms 847 from the
field through the appropriate functional chain of command. This Air Force Manual (AFMAN)
may be supplemented in accordance with paragraph 1.6 The use of the name or mark of any
