SUBJECT: Department of the Air Force Guidance Memorandum (DAFGM) to Department of
the Air Force Manual (DAFMAN) 32-1084, Standard Facility Requirements
By Order of the Secretary of the Air Force, Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 32-1084,
Standard Facility Requirements, is re-designated Department of the Air Force Manual
(DAFMAN) and this DAF Guidance Memorandum (DAFGM) immediately implements
changes to DAFMAN 32-1084. Compliance with this memorandum is mandatory. To the extent
its directions are inconsistent with other Department of the Air Force (DAF) publications, the
information herein prevails, in accordance with DAFMAN 90-161, Publishing Processes and
Procedures.
This memorandum provides DAF guidance for establishing lactation rooms for nursing
mothers, and Air Force Special Operations Command unique facility requirements in Special
Operations Forces weapon systems and supporting agencies.
This memorandum also provides updates on calculating facility authorizations in
accordance with the latest standards for Category Group 61, Administrative and
Administrative Support Spaces.
The guidance in this Memorandum becomes void after one year has elapsed from the date of
this Memorandum or upon incorporation in rewrite of DAFMAN 32-1084, whichever is earlier.
