This Department of the Air Force Policy Directive (DAFPD) implements Department of Defense
Directive 7730.65, Department of Defense Readiness Reporting System; Department of Defense
Directive 3020.26, DoD Continuity Policy; and Department of Defense Instruction 7730.66,
Guidance for the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS). This publication applies to all
civilian and Regular Air Force personnel and all civilian and Regular Space Force personnel,
members of the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard. Refer recommended changes and
conflicts between this and other publications to Headquarters Air Force Readiness or Headquarters
Space Force Readiness, as appropriate, on an Air Force Form 847, Recommendation for Change
of Publication; route AF Forms 847 from the field through the appropriate functional chain of
command. Ensure all records generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication
adhere to Air Force Instruction 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance
Program, and are disposed in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule, which
is located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
SUMMARY OF CHANGES
This directive has been substantially revised and needs to be completely reviewed. Major changes
include the removal of sections on Department of the Air Force Command and Control
Architecture, base and launch operability, managing resources, and implementation of CJCSI
3500.01H, Joint Training Policy for the Armed Forces of the United States.
