This supplement implements and extends the instructions of Department of Defense (DoD)
Instruction 6000.13, Accession and Retention Policies, Programs, and Incentives for
Military Health Professions Officers (HPOs). This supplement describes Air Force
responsibilities under the instruction and establishes the Air Force requirement to support
the program. This supplement applies to uniformed members of the Regular Air Force
(RegAF), the Air Force Reserve (USAFR) and when on Title 10 orders for 365 days or
more, the Air National Guard. This publication does not apply to the United States Space
Force. The applicable System of Record Notice F036 AFPC F, Health Education Records,
