1. Mission . The mission of 15 AF is to provide ready combat forces anytime, anywhere. 15 AF
will deliver agile, integrated and lethal Combat Air Forces (CAF) ready to prevail in conflict. 15
AF will support its assigned 13 Wings and 3 subordinate units by advising, assisting, advocating,
integrating, and certifying (3AIC) its Force Elements (FE) through CAF Force Generation
(CAFFORGEN) implementation. As the USAF’s largest force-providing Numbered Air Force
(NAF), 15 AF will lead FE certification development and implementation for the CAF.
