This instruction implements AFPD 13-6, Space Policy. It extends the guidance of AFI 13-602,
Volume 1, Ready Spacecrew Program Training. It establishes the roles, responsibilities, and
programs required for executing and supporting formal space mission qualification training;
officer, enlisted, operational training programs; and advanced training programs. This publication
applies to all AFRC Air Force Reserve members serving in a Space Force mission. This publication
does not apply to United States Space Force, or Air National Guard units. Ensure that all records
generated as a result of processes prescribed in this publication adhere to AFI 33-322, Records
Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed of in accordance with the
Air Force Records Disposition Schedule which is located in the Air Force Records Information
Management System. Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the
Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) using the DAF Form 847, Recommendation for Change
of Publication; route DAF Forms 847 from the field through the appropriate functional chain of
command. This publication may be supplemented at any level, but all supplements must be routed
to the OPR listed above for coordination prior to certification and approval. The authorities to
waive wing/Space Force equivalent/unit level requirements in this publication are identified with
a Tier (“T-0, T-1, T-2, T-3”) number following the compliance statement. See DAFMAN 90-161,
