This mission directive implements policy and guidance in AFPD 38-1, Manpower and
Organization, and AFI 38-101, Manpower and Organization. It delineates the mission, command
relationships, and responsibilities of the Airlift Tactics Flight. This MD applies to individuals
assigned to HQ AFRC. It does not apply to Regular Air Force, Space Force, or ANG units. Ensure
that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained IAW
AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of IAW
the Air Force Records Information Management System Records Disposition Schedule. Contact
supporting records managers as required. Refer recommended changes and questions about this
publication to the OPR using DAF 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route DAF
Forms 847 from the field through the appropriate functional chain of command. This publication
may not be supplemented.
SUMMARY OF CHANGES
This publication has been substantially revised to update the purpose, signature block and
references.
1. Mission. Integrate citizen airmen personnel as subject matter experts to support the Advanced
Airlift Tactics Training Center mission to increase the warfighting effectiveness and survivability
of US and Allied Mobility and Intel Forces. Train personnel from all components of the Air Force,
Marine Corps and allied nations that perform Tactics Analysis, Development, Test and Training
to meet the emerging critical needs of the mobility community.
