Abstract: Based on the analysis of the stat us of building construction in China, t he development of Assem bled
Structure Syst em ( A SS) can solve not only the problems in construction, but also is t he key for realization of
building indust rialization. On t he basis of technique innovations, a study on the structural performance, con-
struct ion method and precast production of A SS should be carried out to inherit the old one and overcome its
demerit s. T he process reengineering should be done in the construction enterprise to promote t he development
of building industrializat ion.
