This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation
instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as
delineated in the contract.
a. This DID is applicable when contractors are responsible for operating a PMEL.
b. A copy of the reference document cited below shall be obtained as specified.
Requirements:
1. Referenced Document. The applicable issue of the document cited herein, including its
approval date and dates of any applicable revisions and changes is specified in the contract.
2. Format. The manual is prepared in contractor format.
3. Content. Existing contractor quality manuals are acceptable provided they contain required
information. It is not necessary to delete material or change existing contractor quality
manual to match the format or numbering examples provided in Technical Order 00-20-14.
Refer to Technical Order 00-20-14, Section 3 and 7 for guidance in preparing the quality
manual.
