PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION
CONTAINER: SHIPPING, REUSABLE-FOR TANK-
AUTOMOTIVE ENGINES, TRANSMISSIONS, DIFFERENTIALS, TRANSFERS,
FINAL DRIVES, DRIVE AXLES, AND SIMILAR ASSEMBLIES
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department
of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers five types of reusable shipping containers with cover
assembly for use in shipment and storage of engines, transmissions, differentials, transfers, final
drives, driving axles, and similar assemblies.
