3. REQUIREMENTS.
3.1 Material. – The acetylene black shall be
manufactured by the incomplete combustion
of acetylene by any suitable method which
will produce material conforming to the re-
quirements of this specification.
3.2 Chemical and physical requirements. —
The acetylene black shall conform to the
chemical and physical requirements shown
in table I, when tested in accordance with
the applicable test method specified in sec-
tion 4.
