AIRPLANE STRENGTH AND RIGIDITY
DATA AND REPORTS
This spec~ficatlon Is approved for use within the Naval
Air Systems Command, Department of the Navy, and is
available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the
Department of Oefense.

SCOPE
1.1 scope.
This speclf~cation contains the requirements for data
necessary to show compliance with the design and test requirements of 141L-A-

8860 th%uah l’41L-A-8870for the acaulsltion of naval afrplanes, and to show the
dependent ~elatlonshlp bet~een the-schedules for structural engineering
analyses and testing and schedules for manufacturing.
