MIL-F-5509D(4), dated 30 November 1987; and MIL-F-5509D, Supplement 1, dated
16 June 1978, are hereby canceled. Future acquisitions for these products should refer to the
following standard(s) as applicable to the specific fittings. Each replacement standard cites
superseding information for known fittings that have MIL-F-5509 designated as a procurement
specification. The attached cross-reference listing is provided to indicate which AN or MS from
MIL-F-5509D, Supplement 1, applies to the superseding procurement specifications.
