sCOPE
1.1 Scope.
This specification covers
on internal or external parts of aircraft.

1.2 Classification.
Panel fasteners shall be of the following types,
classes, styles, and sizes,
as specified (see 3.2 and 6.2):
Type I -
Type II -
Type 111 -
Class A -
Class B -
Style 1 -
Style 2 -
Style 3 -
Sizes -
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 Government documents.
Flush head
Oval head
Wing head
Floating receptacle
Rigid receptacle
Type I for deep dimple without grommet; types
II
and III for undimpled sheet without gronunet.
Type I for deep dimple with grommets; types

and III for undimpled sheet with grommets.
Type I for shallow dimple with grommet; types
II
and III for undimpled sheet with grommet.
Each head type shall be furnished in the sizes
shown on figure 1.
2.1.1 Specifications, standards and handbooks. The following specifica-
tions, standards and handbooks form a part of this specification to the extent
specified herein.
Unless otherwise specified,
the issues of these documents
shall be those listed in the issue of the Department of Defense Index of Spec-
ifications and Standards (DODISS) and supplement thereto, cited in the solici-
tation.
