FILTER ASSEMBLY AND FILTER ELEMENTS, FLUID
PRESSURE (FOR ENGINES WITH LIQUID FUEL
INJECTION SYSTEMS)
This amendment forms a part of Military Specification MIL-F-20627B
dated 30 October 1962, and is approved for use by all Departments
and Agencies of the Department of Defense.

and add:
"MIL-C-7024 -
Calibrating Fluid, Aircraft Fuel System Components."
2.1, under “STANDARDS, MILITARY": Add:
"MIL-STD-414 - Sampling Procedures and Tables for Inspection By Vari-
ables for Percent Defective."

3.2.1.5: Add:
"The filter case center tube shall include a device that
will positively locate the installed element concentric with the filter case
within plus or minus 0.125 inch.
This centering device shall be made a perma-
nent, non-removable part of the filter and shall be of such a design and have
efficient clearance that the filter element will not be damaged when installed
over the filter case center tube nor interfere with element operation."

Delete and substitute:
"3.3.3 Differential pressure (element). When tested in accordance with
4.5.5, the elements shall be capable of withstanding a differential gage pres-
sure of 100
lb/ln2
without evidence of permanent deformation or other damage."
