This amendment forms a part of Ml litary Specification MIL-G-952(AS) dated
18 October 1949, and
isapproved for use by the iiavalAir Systems Command.
Department of the Navy, and Is avai Iable for use by alI Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.

“ Paragraph 3.2 Oelete in its entirety and substitute:
“Corrosion reslstance.
Exposed metal and working surfaces. except when the
parts involved are made of corrosion resistant materiai , shaiI be coated or
covered with an eiectro-chemical or chemical finish. Exposed metal is defined
as metal exposed to the atmosphere, compressed air, or the spraying fluid.”
● Paragraph 3.3. i6 Oelete in Its entirety and substitute:
“Connections.
Air connection shall be a i/4-i8 Nationai Pipe Specification
(NPS) maie fitting.
Solvent hose connections shaiI be male and of suitable
size for the hose furnished.”

Insert: 3.9 Instruction manuai.
Each spray gun shaii be supplied with an
instruction manuai showing a complete parts iist, functional diagram, and
operating instructions.
The margins of this amendment are marked with an asterisk to indicate where
changes (additions, modifications. corrections,
deletions) from the previous
amendment were made.
This was done as a
convenience only and the Government
assumes no Iiabiiity whatsoever for any inaccuracies in these notations.
Bidders and contractors are cautioned to evaluate the requirements of this
document based on the entire content irespective of the marginal notations
and relationship to the last previous amendment.
