1. SCOPE
1.1 scope. This specification covers continuous duty shipboard installed steam turbine
generator sets
rated up to 1000 kilawttts (kW) direct current and 300 to 2500 kw
alternating current (at).
1.2 Classification. The steam turbine generator sets shall be of the following types
and classes as speczfiecf
(see 6.1.1):
Type I - Package.
TypeII-
Nonpackage.
Class A - Dc.
Class B - Ac.
