HYORAULICSYSTEMS,AIRCSAFT,TYPES I AND II,
OESIGN
AND INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS FOR
This
specificationis approved for use by all Departments
and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1.1 - This
specificationcovers the design and installationrequirements
for types I
and 11 aircraft hydraulic systems.
1.2 Classification.

Aircraft hydraulic systems shall be of the ‘following
specified:
-54” to +71°c (-65”
to ~160°F) temperature range
-54” to ~135°C (-65° to +275°F) temperature range
square inch (PSi); where the cutout pressure at the
main prksure controlli~gdevice is 1,500 psi
3,000 psi; where the cutout ,pressure at the main pressure controlling
device is 3,000 psi.
2. APPLICABLE 00CUMENTS
* 2.1 The following documents, of the issue in effect on date of invitation for
bids or request for proposal, form a part of this specificatkm to the extent
specified herein:
