and is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.

3.4.1.1, delete first sentence and substitute:
The inner tube shall be of a high
aromatic aviation fuel - resistant synthetic rubber compound to meet the require-
ments of this specification.

*Add paragraph 3.4.1.8: Inner tube electrical resistance. Electrical resistance
of the tubes shall be 103 (minimum)
to 10b ohms per meter.

The ends of the hose shall not be shaved,
tapered or have the inner diameter and/or outer diameter changed in any other way, in
order to facilitate attachment .of the end fittings.

ance of the tube shall be within the limits of 10J

temperature flexibility, paragraph 4.5.12, test.
