1. SCOPE
1.1 --- This specification covers pfastic, electrical tnsufating materials used primarily for covering
submarine bus bars and battery bdercell connections. Other applications may be considered where a tough
plastic covering is needed over metal surfaces.
1.2 Classification. - Plastic electrical tnsulatkm shall be of the following types, as specified (see S. 2)

P Resin - plasticizer dispersion (pla8tiaol)
T Heat - reactive thfn wall non-rtgid tubing
