This specification is approved for use by all Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.

This specification establishes the requirements for non-dispersant, mineral
to be used in four stroke cycle, reciprocating piston aircraft engines.
1.2 Classificationt
The lubricating oils shall be furnished in the following grades:

Note: The Military Grade designations are being phased-out in favor of the NATO Code
