SPECIFICATION
PULLEYS, GROOVE, ANTIFRICTION BEARING
GREASE LUBRICATED AIRCRAFT
This amendment forms a part of Military Specification
MIL-P-7034D, 16 July 1982, and is mandatory for use
by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.

1.1, delete and substitute:
"1.1 Scope.
This specification covers requirements for single groove
pulleys with antifriction bearings.”
2.1.1, under SPECIFICATIONS, MILITARY, Add:
"MIL-G-81322, Grease, Aircraft,
General Purpose Wide Temperature Range”

3.2.1.1, add at end of sentence:
"
. . . .
securely bonded to an aluminum insert to be bored after molding
to receive the bearing.”
3.2.2,
insert new paragraph and renumber remaining paragraphs accordingly:
“3.2.2 Bearings.
Bearings shall conform to the requirements of
MIL-B-7949 and MS21443,
Factory new ball bearings shall be used.”
3.2.3.3 (after renumbering), delete title and substitute "Protective treatment"
and delete last sentence.
3.3.1, third line, delete
“bearings void” and substitute "bearing void”.

3.3.3, delete and substitute:
“3.3.3
Non-afterglow type I.
When tested in accordance with 4.5.11, the
pulley shall show no afterglow after ignition and flame extinction.
The non-
afterglow shall not bleed from the sheave material.”
3.3.4, delete and substitute:
“3.3.4 Temperature.
When tested in accordance with 4.5.?, the pulley
assembly shall show no cracks, splits or warpage."
