MILITARY SPECIFICATION
VALVE , GATE, 8RONZE
This specification is approved for use within the Naval Sea Systems Command,
Department of the Navy, and is available for use by al 1 Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.

SCOPE
1.1 =. This specification describes
oil , gas, or steam services on shipboard.
gate valves for use in water,
1.2 Classification. Gate valves shall be of the following types and
classes (see 6.2.1):
Type I
- Rising stem, outside screw and yoke.
