specification
is
mandatory
for
use
by
all
Departments
and Agencies
of
the
Department
of
Defense.

SCOPE
1.1
Scope. This
specification
covers
low-pressure
check
valves
suitable
for
use
in
aircraft
fuel
systems.
They
are
intended
for
use
with
hydrocarbon
fuels,
fuel
vapors,
and
air
throughout
the
temperature ranges
stated
herein.

Check
valves
shall
be
of
the
following
classes:

A - Normal temperature
range
Class
B
