SUBJECT: Air Force Guidance Memorandum to Air Force Instruction (AFI) 10-210, Prime
Base Engineer Emergency Force (BEEF) Program
By Order of the Secretary of the Air Force, this Air Force Guidance Memorandum
immediately implements changes to AFI 10-210, Prime BEEF Program. Compliance with this
memorandum is mandatory. To the extent its directions are inconsistent with other Air Force
publications; the information herein prevails, in accordance with DAFI 90-160, Publications and
Forms Management. Ensure all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this
publication are maintained in accordance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and
Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records
Disposition Schedule (RDS) located in the Air Force Records Management System.
Changed guidance includes MAJCOM roles and responsibilities within the Prime BEEF
Program, contingency training requirements, weapons storage requirements, environmental
management requirements, and Air Reserve Component training.
This memorandum becomes void after one year has elapsed from the date of this
memorandum, or upon incorporation by interim change to, or rewrite of AFI 10-210, Prime
BEEF Program, whichever is earlier.
