This publication implements Air Force Policy Directive 14-1, Intelligence, Surveillance, and
Reconnaissance (ISR) Planning, Resources, and Operations, and Department of Defense
Instruction 3305.02, DoD General Intelligence Training and Certification. It applies to all
Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, and Department of the Air Force
civilians supporting Air Force intelligence operational missions at wing-level and below. The
authority to maintain the records prescribed in this instruction are Title 10 United States Code.
8013, Secretary of the Air Force; Air Force Instruction 36-2608, Military Personnel Records
System. Ensure all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are
maintained in accordance with Air Force Manual 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed
of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule located in the Air Force
Records Information Management System. Refer recommended changes to this publication to
the Office of Primary Responsibility using the AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of
Publication. In accordance with Air Force Instruction 33-360, Publication and Forms
Management, the authorities to waive Field Operating Agency/Wing/Unit Level requirements
are identified with a Tier (“T-0, T-1, T-2, T-3”) number following the compliance statement.
Submit requests for waivers through the Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to
AF/A2F for non-tiered compliance items.
