This directive implements Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 2010.9, Acquisition and
Cross-Servicing Agreements, and establishes Department of the Air Force policy for the
acquisition and provision of logistic support, supplies, and services directly from and transfer to
military forces of authorized foreign governments. This publication applies to all Department of
the Air Force personnel including the AF Reserve and the Air National Guard on Title 10 status.
This directive cannot be supplemented. Refer recommended changes and questions about this
publication to the Office of Primary Responsibility using the Air Force Form 847,
Recommendation for Change of Publication; route the Air Force Form 847 through the
appropriate functional chain of command. Ensure all records created as a result of processes
prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with Air Force Manual 33-363,
Management of Records, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition
Schedule located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
SUMMARY OF CHANGES
This publication is substantially revised and must be completely reviewed. Major changes
include a title change from Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 25-3, Allied Logistics Support to
Department of the Air Force Directive, DAFPD 25-3, Acquisition and Cross-Servicing
Agreements to better align with DoD guidance and the creation of the United States Space Force.
It expands upon the policy section, and adds a roles and responsibilities section to better align
with DoD guidance.
