This publication implements Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 1020.03, Harassment
Prevention and Response in the Armed Services; DoDI 1438.06, DoD Workplace Violence
Prevention and Response Policy; DoDI 6400.01, Family Advocacy Program (FAP); DoDI
6400.05, New Parent Support Program (NPSP); DoDI 6400.06, Domestic Abuse Involving DoD
Military and Certain Affiliated Personnel; DoDI 6490.16, Defense Suicide Prevention Program;
DoDI 6495.02, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Program Procedures; and
Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 6400.01 Volume 2, Child Abuse And Domestic Abuse
Incident Reporting System. This Air Force Policy Directive is consistent with or relates to other
Air Force Policy Directives. This policy applies to all levels of command and all Air Force
organizations and components including Regular Air Force, Air Force government civilian
employees, United States Air Force Academy, and Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve.
In collaboration with the Chief of Air Force Reserve (AF/RE) and the Director of the Air
National Guard (NGB/CF), the Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower, Personnel, and Services
(AF/A1) develops personnel policy for the resilience and violence prevention programs, and the
Community Action Board and Community Action Team. This publication may not be
supplemented. Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the Office of
Primary Responsibility using the Air Force Form 847, Recommendation for Change of
Publication; route Air Force Forms 847 from the field through the appropriate functional chain
of command. Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this
publication are maintained in accordance with Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-363,
Management of Records, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition
Schedule in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
