CAREER FIELD EDUCATION AND TRAINING PLAN
Summary: This change modifies the CFETP Part 1 and II for the 4J0X2/A. The CDC need dates have
been updated. In addition, a basic life support (BLS) task has been added to the 4J0X2 STS. BLS is
required of students prior to advancing to the clinical portion of the enlisted initial skills course. Lastly,
the 4J0X2A Orthotics specific STS has been revised to correct tasks that were mislabeled and to include
missing core tasks. This change is effective immediately.
1. Pen and Ink Change:
Change the need dates for the following CDCs:
7-Level CDC, 4J072, need date is 26 Jan 15
5-Level CDC, 4J052A, need date is 1 Jul 15
5-Level CDC, 4J052B, need date is 25 Jan 16
Add new STS task item “19. Obtain certification in healthcare provider
basic life support (BLS) TR: Basic Life Support for Healthcare
Providers (AHA).”
Add proficiency code “3c” in column 4A.
2. Page Inserts: Remove and replace pages.
