This publication implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 20-1/63-1, Integrated Life Cycle
Management and provides direction relative to AFPD 21-1, Maintenance of Military Materiel,
and AFPD 23-1, Supply Chain Materiel Management. This Department of the Air Force
Instruction (DAFI) provides the minimum essential guidance and procedures for Repair Network
Management and outlines enterprise repair network principles and objectives. This publication
applies to the all military, civilian employees and contractors of the Regular Air Force, Air Force
Reserve and Air National Guard (ANG), and to other individuals or organizations as required by
binding agreement or obligation with the Department of the Air Force. Any contractor
requirements contained within this instruction must be contained within the contract, grant, or
agreement to be enforceable. Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in
this publication adhere to AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance
Program, and disposed of in accordance with Air Force Records Disposition Schedule located in
the Air Force Records Information Management System. Refer recommended changes and
questions about this publication through your MAJCOM, to the office of primary responsibility
(OPR) using Air Force Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication. This publication
may be supplemented, but to ensure standardization all supplements will be submitted to the
Director of Logistics, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection
(AF/A4L) for approval before publishing. Supplements and addendums are written in accordance
with DAFI 33-360, Publication and Forms Management. The authorities to waive wing/unit
level requirements in this publication are identified with a tier (“T-0, T-1, T-2, T-3”) number
following the compliance statement. See DAFI 33-360, Table 1.1 for a description of the
