This publication establishes criteria and procedures for F-35A flight evaluations, implements Air
Force Instruction (AFI) 11-200, Aircrew Training, Standardization/Evaluation, and General
Operations Structure, and AFI 11-202V2, Aircrew Standardization/Evaluation Program. This Air
Force Manual (AFMAN) applies to all F-35A units in the regular Air Force, Air National Guard
and Air Force Reserve. Ensure all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this
publication are maintained in accordance with AFMAN 33-363, Management of Records, and
disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule located in the Air
Force Records Information Management System. Refer recommended changes and questions
about this publication to the office of primary responsibility (OPR) using the Air Force (AF) Form
847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route AF Forms 847 from the field through the
appropriate functional chain of command. Parent MAJCOM Stan/Eval will forward approved
recommendations to lead command OPR (HQ ACC/A3TV, 204 Dodd Blvd, Suite 133, Langley
AFB VA 23665-2789). Air Combat Command (ACC)/A3 will coordinate all changes to the basic
volume with all major command (MAJCOM)/A3s. This publication may be supplemented at any
level. Forward proposed supplements to this volume through ACC Standardization/Evaluation
Branch (A3TV) to AF staff for approval prior to publication. Copies of MAJCOM/Direct
Reporting Unite/Field Operating Activity-level supplements, after approval and publishing, will
be made available on the e-Publishing website at https://www.e-publishing.af.mil. The
authorities to waive wing/unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a Tier (“T-
0, T-1, T-2, T-3”) number following the compliance statement. See AFI 33-360, Publications and
